Exploring Antibody Behavior at the Nanoscale
How is the nanoscopy revolution unlocking spatial proteomics at unprecedented resolution to advance antibody research and development?
Discover how super-resolution microscopy reveals nanoscale target organization and intracellular antibody trafficking to support the evaluation of therapeutic candidates.
About the Webinar
Dr. Quentin Lubart from Abbelight introduces single-molecule localization microscopy (SMLM), a super-resolution imaging technique that tracks individual fluorescent molecules and reconstructs their positions to reveal structures beyond the resolution of conventional fluorescence microscopy.
The presentation explores Abbelight’s modular SMLM platform, compatible with inverted microscopes, and its integrated workflow covering labeling kits, image acquisition, and analysis software. It also introduces preclinical research services designed to quantify nanoscale phenotypes and characterize antibody candidates.
Through a clustering assay, the webinar demonstrates how SMLM measures target density, cluster size, cluster density, and the distribution of targets inside and outside clusters.
A second assay focuses on antibody internalization and intracellular trafficking, tracking labeled therapeutic antibodies across cellular compartments, including lysosomes, while measuring colocalization and compartment-specific distribution.
Together, these approaches provide quantitative insights into target organization and antibody behavior, helping researchers evaluate and rank biologic candidates before preclinical studies.
